Whether you are a savvy event planner, a crafty designer or a researcher at heart, we are always looking for the people with the drive and fervour to make a difference. Often the easiest, and one of the most effective ways of supporting our kaupapa is by having conversations with people about our justice system, sharing your thoughts, ideas and experiences. This can involve looking at where the problems lie, and encouraging thinking around what solutions could exist.

What kind of member are you?
Leaders - leaders guide each local group and provide input into our overall strategy as members of the national leadership group. As a leader, you'll be actively growing the JustSpeak community in your local area.
Creatives - creatives design and create buzz about JustSpeak's kaupapa and events. You'll be an awesome communicator, designer or performer who's ready to come up with creative ways of achieving our vision and spreading the word through social media, hui, web design, infographics, music, arts, film or theatre.
Catalysts - we don't just talk about big issues, we act on them. As a catalyst, you'll be an organising ninja and use your superpowers to organise hui and events - and you'll also work with and support other crews with their planning and communication. You'll need to be amped and ready to go during recruitment and in the lead up to events.
Explorers - as an explorer, your passion for research and writing will result in building our knowledge of criminal justice. You'll be writing reports, blog posts and making submissions on our behalf, so you'll need an interest in criminology, law, public health, statistics or related subjects, or you'll bring real-life experiences to the mix.
Groupies - fans, groupies, supporters - whatever you call yourself, we need you! You'll cheer us on from the sidelines, talk about the issues with your networks, connect with us on social media and attend events. You'll be on board with our kaupapa and love what we do.
