We are implementing a Global Freedom Scholars Aotearoa (GFSA) academic mentoring programme to support those with lived experience of the justice system to achieve their educational goals. Access to higher education in prisons in Aotearoa is currently very limited - we want to see this change!

We are also hosting a range of events to bring attention to the issue and grow the network. Most recently we hosted an event at Parliament to launch our actions for change. This includes funding, policy and legislative actions that will help improve access to higher education and remove the barriers currently in place.
